The course is designed to be very runnable and will be very clearly marked. Navigation will not be a challenge.
You will see that the course is 70% ski trail and about 30% single-track.
For those unfamiliar with Kivi, the ski trails are impeccable. They are formed of packed crusher dust and provide a very firm, flat and stable running surface. These sections are wide and provide lots of elbow room. Most of these trails are 5-7 meters wide.
Although Kivi has some very technical single-track to support all kinds of activities, the sections that are included in this course are very straight forward. On these sections, you will find some rock, tree roots and a few fun features along with some undulation. However, they are not very tricky. The footing is firm and stable. Even if you are not a seasoned trail runner, you will not find these too difficult to navigate.
